1956 The origin and development of Woodworking machinery in Taiwan.
The government began to implement the forestry policy of “Lumbering more, planting more, and Making more money”. In central Taiwan, woodworking machinery began to flourish in the central region due to the geographical environment.
1974 Sheng Xiong Iron Works was established.
Sheng Xiong Iron Works, the former Cheng Hung Company was established. We produced woodworking lathes and curved wood forming presses used for wooden badminton rackets and wood tennis rackets. The first Cheng Hong woodworking machine was born.
1989 Cheng Hung Woodworking Machinery was established.
"Sheng Xiong Iron Works" was renamed "Cheng Hung Machinery Industry Co., Ltd." At this time, in response to the gradual scarcity of wood in Taiwan, the development of laminated sheets began to flourish in the industry. Cheng Hung transferred the hydraulic technology of the curved wood forming machine to the production of hydraulic tools suitable for the processing of laminated sheets and continued to develop derivative machines.
1990~2005 Various types of cold/hot press, wood curved forming press, glue spreaders, and other related machinery flourished.
2005 Complete first Short-cycle lamination Line
In order to meet the trend of a small amount of diversification and timeliness of customer orders, the well-developed glue spreader and the newly developed short-cycle bonding press are connected through various conveying equipment to complete the first short-cycle veneer production line.
2006 Imported PUR moisture reactive hot melt adhesive technology for sheet metal bonding equipment.
Using the technology of the water-based glue spreader technology to extend the development of the PUR glue spreader core machine and its peripheral equipment.
2010 Completed the first semi-auto multifunction PUR double-side bonding line.

2012 Completed the first fully automatic SMC door panel bonding line.
Acquired the largest plastics enterprise order in Taiwan and built the first fully automatic SMC door panel bonding line in the factory. With the original assembly method of the customer, the production line was mechanically automated, and the original configuration personnel were successfully reduced to three people, and the production capacity was also improved.
2016 Completed the first fully automatic wooden fire door panel bonding line.
The elegant and restrained wooden fire door has a very solid structure and a multi-layer fireproof sandwich structure, which makes each fire door weigh up to 150 kg. In order to improve the handling problems of the production staff and the growing orders, the customer is looking for an automated production line solution. Cheng Hung successfully replaced the production line machinery to replace the labor of manual handling and reduced the original production line from 12 people to 3 people to operate, which greatly improved production efficiency and product stability. This production line has also cooperated with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Precision Machinery Research and Development Center, to import automatic glue detection modules to make the customer's product quality more stable.
